Wow, that’s good service!!

By ajh

My lovely new, two pairs of Saucony running shoes arrived this morning from Running Warehouse. I only ordered them on Saturday night. So, newer models than I can get here, half the price, very quick service – I know how I’m buying my shoes from now on. Thanks to those of you that recommended them.

I’m thinking about doing the Degani Kinglake bike ride in September. There are 70km and 120km options. A bike ride that is sponsored by a bakery / cafe – sounds alright to me! Check it out on the Supersprint website.

A 6.25km loop tonight at 5:23 min/km pace. Knee is not 100%, but felt better than the other night. I’ve also got a bit of shin pain now though.

I was going to put an order in on the week-end for 2 pairs of shoes and didn’t end up doing it for one reason or another……. am so spewing now as exchange rate has gone up, doh!! Still cheap though, there is no way I will ever be able to part with so much money for a pair of shoes at the local shops again.

I have got so many blogs to catch up with it is ridiculous

I did the same thing after your last post on the subject. Ordered two pairs, a hat and a shirt. Even with the shipping all that is still cheaper than one pair of shoes here in New Zealand.

You’ve just got to love the internet.

About that bike-ride: I’m assuming it has something to do with Kinglake, the town. In which case, does it not also include that bloody awful hill on the way up there?

I’ve done that a few times. No fun.

I received an e-mail from Sporting Spirit about that ride and you were the first person I thought of, it looked right up your alley, you should give it a go.

Just a quickie on the shoes. How are you sure they will:
    a. fit
    b. be the right shoe for you?

    :)
