Started of the day as we always do on a Saturday with our trip into Victoria Market for our fruit, vegetable etc shopping, and our usual coffee and jam donut from the doughnut truck!
After that we went out to Kepala Pet Resort to check it out. As I’ve posted before we are planning a week away in Tasmania in October which will include running the Burnie 10 race. As Chris and Kate are working/studying all day and socialising a lot of nights, we’ve decided we’ll give Jackie a little holiday too – it will give us better peace of mind while we’re away. We’ve booked one of the “boutique suites” for her, four poster bed, heating, her own TV, three walkies and one playtime session each day and gourmet food (roast chicken, cooked mince etc). Do you think she’ll survive while we’re gone? The ironic thing is, we haven’t even booked all our own accomodation yet – do you think our dog is possibly a little spoiled?
Another windy ride this afternoon, 30.3 km @ 25.2 km/hr – it was nice to be doing it in daylight – not finishing up in darkness like most nights, but there were a few sprinkles of rain, but nothing to worry about.
We’re heading into the city for an early tea tonight, then going to the Geelong vs Richmond game at Telstra Dome. So, if Geelong lose a game for a change, you’ll know why – it’s because I’m there!

How much? Anything to make Bella happy while I am away makes me happy- throw in a couple of possums and it would be perfect for her.

Did you really want an answer to your question Andrew?
It’s good to know you’re looking after Jackie while you’re off having fun in Tasmania.

Few things are better than an old fashioned hot jam donut, yum!
