What a great win today for Emma Snowsill in the Olympic Women’s Triathlon! I think if I had a “magic power” before the games to pick Australia’s one-and-only gold medal, this would have been the one I would have chosen.
You’ve just got to have so much respect for the triathlete’s – the huge amount of work they have to do to train for all three disciplines – it is mind blowing.
Well done Emma! You’re an inspiration to all of us!
For me, it was a 25.5km ride on the bike tonight. I think I am going to take the opportunity to ride whenever I can this week and try and get this right shin better with a bit less running.

Aah that was a brilliant event. I watched the whole thing (although I was cheering our kiwi girl on) and I thought she did brilliantly.
