Sounds like an interesting book.

I thought about using a spreadsheet - but find the logging functions on www.mapmyrun.com pretty good when used with the map routes. Mind you I use a spreadsheet for other stuff like weights.

I think you'll enjoy the book - well I did. It was a bit different to what I was expecting but I'll be interested to hear your opinion when you finish it.

Ha with the spreadsheets. Sometimes I look at my running log and think I should do blah, blah, blah and it'd be like the most whizz bang Excel running log ever -- then I stop myself cos seriously it would never end!

Will be interested to see how you get on with the Haruki Murakami - I used to be a fan but started to find his books a bit samey. Was very intrigued when I saw he'd written a running memoir!
