Boy, it is a long drive from Greenvale to Berwick, and there were lots of beeps from the e-tag as we traversed Citylink and Eastlink, it’ll be interesting to see how much it cost when the statement comes in. Striking difference though between the effort they made with making Eastlink look attractive, compared to the Tullamarine freeway. Anyway, it was a nice dinner last night, but a late night. I think I’m getting old and am unused to getting home after the “pumpkin hour”.
I did get up and go in for a swim though. I was going to reduce the number of laps and lounge round a bit, but unfortunately the spa and steam room were “temporarily out of order”, so the usual 80 laps were swum, followed by a short sauna.
After that I did the second coat of painting the eaves under the new pergola, and then we went out to “Dirt Cheap Books” and to have a coffee. The only thing I bought was a copy of “26.2 Marathon Stories” for a friend who is training for her first marathon.
I’m just about to go and do a home workout, then it will be time for CSI & CSI NY.
Here’s a little diversion for you. Last week on Spicks & Specks they did a segment where they had to guess a song which had been translated from English to Japanese and back again via an on-line translator. Thought I’d give it a try.
