Started the day off with a run with Deb, running our usual 8km hilly loop. I was very happy that there were no complaints at all from the calf this morning, so I think it’s coming good.
Ended the day with a ride with Peter who I met last Wednesday night at the Hume BUG meeting. He rang last night asking if I’d like a ride, so we rode up to Craigieburn and back, a total of just over 30km. A very windy ride and the return ride down Mickleham Rd was directly into the headwind. I think I was the stronger rider so I took most of the wind on the way home, riding in front with Peter tucked in behind. It’s a small world because Peter turns out to be the father of a boy who Kate has been very friendly with for quite a few years.
