Busy day

Started off the day with the usual Friday run with Deb. Our usual 8km route. It was quite warm, and both of us were nursing (or at least being careful with) injuries, so we took it easy, finishing in about 5:50 min/km pace. I’m happy to report that the calf felt fine all the way round, and still feels good.

A busy day at work today, but at least it was a day where I feel as if I accomplished something.

A home workout after tea finished off the exercise week for me.

I was glad to see both the state government and the opposition saying they would crush the cars of repeat hoon offenders. I’ll vote for whoever agrees to do it on the first offence! In a similar vein, here’s a suggestion for repeat drink drivers; tattoo “DrinkDriver” across their forehead and make it an offense for anyone to sell or give them alcohol, and take away their driver licenses for ever. Hang on, even better, forget the tattoo, let’s get Lt Aldo Raine to write it across their forehead with his big knife!

perhaps tattoo “idiot” instead. It’s more generic, and easier to spell.

well i agree with the sentiment that drink driving is terrible. However, i do have to draw the line at tattooing their heads and removing their civil liberties, but… crushing their cars, now THAT i think is a grand idea

I’m in favour of a temporary tattoo. Say 6 months. 🙂

Bring back the stocks in a public square?

I think I saw any of Lt Aldo’s work through the finger cage- too horrified to look, but too entralled to look away!
