Dizzy heights …

My boss is in town (he is an American based in Beijing, China) for the next couple of days and we spent today showing him a bit of Melbourne. We drove into the city and walked around a bit, then went up to the Eureka Skydeck – the view from up there is incredible (as are the lifts, 88 floors in 38 seconds) ! Then we had lunch down at Automatic on Southbank and then drove down to St Kilda and had a bit of a walk along the Esplanade market and along the beach front.  It was a pleasant day, but again other than the walking around, a bit of a rest day exercise wise. Still, it feels good to have had a “rest weekend”.

A busy week work-wise coming up, including another flight down to Tasmania on Tuesday.

Edit: Kathryn, yeah not cheap, $17.50 each adult, just to go up and look at the view. The Edge (where you get to go in the glass cage thing) was extra, not sure how much because we didn’t do it.

I really want to go to the Eureka Tower. Does it cost much?

Love being a tourist in your own city! Take him to Vic Market for a bratwurst!

Hope the nice weekend break lets you feel a bit more rejuvenated, and your funk is subsiding. Whether it’s the planets, or just the collective emotion of Melbourne, or star signs or whatever I’ve known a few people recently in a fairly vague fog and they aren’t sure what triggered it so you aren’t alone!
