Another good, food-laden day today. We drove to Eumundi to visit their craft markets which are held every Wednesday and Saturday. It really is the biggest craft market I’ve seen, bigger than anything Melbourne has to offer, and bigger than Salamanca in Hobart. Some pancakes with maple syrup and a large punnet of strawberries sustained us during our long walk around the market.

Next stop was the ginger factory at Yandina where we did the factory tour and had a good look around. For lunch we had a ginger scone with ginger jam, a ginger and date muffin and no less than four different sorts of ginger ice cream (purely for the medicinal purposes of ginger, you understand).

Tea out (at the Buderim Tavern) was nice (I was good and had Atlantic Salmon and salad). I was going to run today, but still had a few twinges from the hilly run the other day. Methinks I had better be more dedicated to some exercise the next few days. We relocate from Buderim to Doonan (near Noosa) tomorrow – I hope it is not so hilly there!

    Ginger is an anti-inflammatory, so definitely medicinal.

    No Ginger Beer though, Mmmmm Ginger Beer 🙂
