HM Training – Week 2

So week 2 of the Half Marathon training plan starts today, here’s what it looks like;

  • Monday – Rest/Cross Train
  • Tuesday – 15 minute warm-up then 30 minute fartlek with 5/4/3/2/1 minute surges @ 4:30 min/km with equal relaxed run in between
  • Wednesday – Rest/Cross Train
  • Thursday – 8 km relaxed run
  • Friday – Rest/Cross Train
  • Saturday – 6 km relaxed run
  • Sunday – 16 km long run

So, tomorrow is one of the hard days, again going to do it with Alex down on the Moonee Ponds Creek Trail path in Strathmore.

Tonight I headed out for a short (30 minute) easy bike ride, and completed a short home workout.


Now, let’s go see who wins The Biggest Loser. I’m hoping it will be Kellie or Emma, but think it will probably be Leigh.

    I’ve never actually seen the Biggest Loser! Weird, I know! The only show we are watching right now is Dancing with the Stars. My three boys LOVE it! I never would have thought.
