HM Training – Week 3

Week 3 of the Half Marathon training plan starts today, here’s what it looks like;

  • Monday – Rest/Cross Train
  • Tuesday – 10 km relaxed run
  • Wednesday – Rest/Cross Train
  • Thursday – 8 km relaxed run
  • Friday – Rest/Cross Train
  • Saturday – 7 km steady run over hills
  • Sunday – 17 km long run

So, the Tuesday morning intervals session we’ve had the last two weeks is now a 10km relaxed run, the Saturday run gets a bit harder (1km longer and have to find some hills) and the Sunday long run is 1km longer at 17km.

Tonight I headed out for a short (25 minute) bike ride before it got dark, and completed a short home workout.
