HM Training – Week 4

Week 4 of the Half Marathon training plan starts today, here’s what it looks like;

  • Monday – Rest/Cross Train
  • Tuesday – 2 x 4km at HM pace with 4-5 minutes recovery
  • Wednesday – Rest/Cross Train
  • Thursday – 5 km relaxed run
  • Friday – Rest/Cross Train
  • Saturday – 8 km steady run over hills
  • Sunday – 13 km long run

I am a bit sore after yestedays long run, my left knee (my good one) is noticeably sorer than the right (which i’ve been taping), so tonight i’ve shaved the left one too, and will try taping both. I’ll run tomorrow, but on my own as Alex is still resting his sore calf. If I feel OK i will try the speed session, if not I’ll swap and run Thursday’s relaxed 5km.

Tonight I just completed just completed a short home workout.

    I’ll come back tomorrow to find out how the 2 x 4k at HM pace went. That sounds hard!
