Cadel, you are a bloody legend …

They say “a picture paints a thousand words”, so I’m going to shut up today.

As well as the cyclists of Le Tour, the other group that really deserve our appreciation and applause are the SBS team. The television coverage of the Tour de France is really second to no other sporting event in my opinion. The commentary team on SBS are, unquestionably, the best in the business. Thanks for another fine job guys!

Great also to see the delightful Tina Arena absolutely nail the national anthem. Beautiful!

Just one last plug (well two actually) for two of my favourite cycling websites. I really enjoyed the Twitter feed from The Climbing Cyclist during the tour, and an interesting new addition to this great little website that details many of the great Victorian cycling climbs is the fact that site author Matt has “categorised” all the climbs. Cycling Tips is the other web site I want to plug. Site author Wade has been at Le Tour and the photos on his posts have been (as always) stunning.

I was looking forward to an early night tonight after the three weeks of Le Tour, but I unfortunately have a teleconference until 12:30am. Damn.

Hope to see you soon, Andrew.

You said it Andrew! We were amazed that Cadel actually made the morning TV sports news, along with Will Power – so 2 Aussies on US TV sport must be some kind of record.

We were watching the Tour on Friday and I was thinking of you and how much you were enjoying it! 😀

SBS do a bang up job of the World Athletics Champs as well.

I love how all the BMC boys were wearing yellow sunnies on the last day, it was a nice touch.

This makes me so happy for you! But in my eyes, there are two Australian champions now (you being the one :)).
